Thirty years ago today Frankie Howerd died and was buried in the Church of St Gregory in Weare, just a few miles away from his country home in Cross that he loved so much and where he lived for many years with his partner and manager, Dennis Heymer.
His spirit and humour live on and the Frankie Howerd OBE Trust seeks to honour his memory and create a Community Hub in Loxton which will benefit local people in the area that he adored.
