The Dame June Whitfield Centre extends our Community Hub & Café. It opened officially on 21 April 2026.

Our lunch and transport services help local residents meet and make friends.

Rural Friends Community Lunch

An informal lunch for local residents, with two courses and tea or coffee for £10. Advance booking is required.

Rural Friends Community Transport

Our minibus collects older residents from their homes for a café visit, then brings them back. Travel is free; passengers pay for their refreshments.
