Frankie’s Dramatic return to Cross
The 100th performance of Howerd’s End brought Frankie and Dennis’s story back to Cross.
Cross Memorial Hall was full for the 100th performance of Howerd’s End, written by Mark Farrelly and performed with Simon Cartwright. The report, published on 13 July 2024, recalls the previous Saturday’s performance in aid of the Trust.
The play explored Frankie’s relationship with Dennis Heymer, across the road from their former home at Wavering Down. The Trust also looked forward to welcoming Mark back with his play about Quentin Crisp once the new Centre was complete.
Based on the Trust’s original announcement.
