The Weston Light Orchestra will be playing for us on Saturday 14th October at 7.30 pm at St Andrew’s Church in Cheddar (BS27 3RF). The proceeds of this concert will go towards our purchase of a defibrillator for our Community Hub in Loxton. The Weston Light Orchestra have been around since 1919 (not the same performers!) and frequently play for charity events. Their music is easy-listening, Palm Court-style. Tickets cost just £10 which includes refreshments during the interval, and can be bought on the door on the night (cash only, please) or by card at the Frankie Howerd Community Café in Loxton (BS26 2XE), or at other venues which will be posted here soon. Please come and join us and have a relaxing and enjoyable evening. There is plenty of parking opposite the Church, and in the nearby Sainsbury’s car park for free. (The photo above is of the Orchestra playing at our last event in June 2022 in St Gregory’s Church in Weare.)
