This is great news and shows how much our project is supported. Thank you.

An enormous amount of work has been carried out (especially by Phil and Kieran) to get our Hub ready for action. We have printed menus and are preparing leaflets to be circulated around the area to advertise the Trust. All our efforts now will be focused on providing a great service here and raising funds for specific objectives: firstly, to purchase a minibus to bring people in to the Hub and to offer transport for them for other needs, and secondly to build phase 2 of our project which is the "Dame June Whitfield Activities' Centre" in which we can provide a wide range of activities and learning sessions to everyone in the BS26 area. We are all excited about the future of the Trust! Keep a look-out for latest…
The Weston Light Orchestra gave a wonderful performance in St Gregory's Church to a very appreciative audience and helped the Trust raise several hundred pounds towards the purchase of a minibus. Many thanks to all those involved in making this event a great success!
The Weston Light Orchestra will be playing at St Gregory's Church in Weare on Saturday 18th June starting at 7.30pm. This concert of light orchestral music and featuring the virtuoso pianist, Richard Lennox, is in aid of The Frankie Howerd OBE Trust to raise money for a minibus for the Community Hub in Loxton. Tickets are just £10 (to include refreshments and finger snacks) and will hopefully be for sale at the Hub itself from 1st June. They will also be available at the Church on the evening of the concert - cash only please - or contact the Ticket Manager to buy tickets in advance on 07942 644932.
